On October 14, 2024, the Czech-Dutch Chamber of Commerce (CDCC), in partnership with its member Femme Palette, hosted an inspiring seminar on the impact of artificial intelligence on the future of work. Held at Equals in Amsterdam, the event brought together professionals to learn, discuss, and network around one of the most transformative developments of our time: AI.
The event was officially opened by Vanda Adlerová, ambassador of Femme Palette, and Katerina Velíšková, Executive Director from CDCC, who emphasized the importance of collaboration and knowledge-sharing in a rapidly evolving digital era.

Filip Dřímalka: AI starts with a mindset shift
One of the keynote speakers, Filip Dřímalka, is the author of the bestseller The Future of No Work. In his presentation, he shared key insights from his book, which explores how we can master AI, increase our earning potential, and design a life on our own terms.
Filip introduced his concept of No Work—work that is so enjoyable it doesn’t feel like work, and work that technology cannot replace. He stressed that embracing AI starts with a mindset change. In many cases, the biggest challenge isn’t about people understanding technology, but about their resistance to change and hesitation in adopting new digital possibilities.
He also highlighted a new set of essential skills for the AI era:
- Imagination and creativity – While AI can automate many tasks, original ideas and creative thinking remain uniquely human strengths.
- General knowledge – A broad knowledge base allows people to connect information and make strategic decisions.
- Systematic thinking – Understanding complex systems and recognizing patterns helps maximize AI’s potential.
Filip wrapped up his talk with practical advice on how to integrate AI into our daily work and life. He encouraged the audience to experiment with different AI tools and share their experiences—both successes and failures.
Claire Scott: AI & I – A personal journey
The second speaker, Claire Scott, founder of OpsAngel and former COO of Shell Recharge Solutions Europe, delivered a powerful and personal talk titled “AI & I”. She shared how AI has transformed her career and life, illustrating how embracing AI has made her work more strategic, efficient, and impactful. Her story showcased AI’s potential not just for optimizing processes, but also for creating new career opportunities and personal growth.
