Under the umbrella of the Czech EU Presidency, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in the Netherlands, the Czech Centre Rotterdam and CzechTourism Benelux present a Christmas concert performed by:
Natálie Kulina – violin
Francisca Portugal – violin
May Bardsley – viola
Emma Warmelink – cello
The programme is titled Bohemian Christmas and in the arrangements for string quartet you will hear more than just traditional Czech Christmas carols.
You can expect also compositions by Josef Suk, Jan Jakub Ryba, Pavel Haas and Antonín Dvořák.
The Czech Christmas music will be accompannied by the traditional Christmas sweets and a Christmas tree decorated by the handmade glass decorations inscribed on the List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Doors open at 18:30. Free admission, RSVP by 12 December via cchaag@czech.cz.
