On 3 October 2019 the Prague Chamber of Commerce (HKP) in cooperation with the Czech Dutch Chamber of Commerce (CDCC) hosted exclusively for its members the Round Table: The Netherlands – country of business opportunities.
“We highly appreciated the invitation to join this event in the series of Round tables that the Prague Chamber of Commerce organizes to introduce various countries and opportunities they offer to Czech companies and entrepreneurs,” commented Vladimíra van Aarle.
The event was opened by Martin Dvořák, Chairman of Foreign Section of HKP and Vladimíra van Aarle, Chairperson of CDCC. Afterwards, Kateřina Velíšková, Executive Director, CDCC introduced the organization, its activities and services offered to its members. Then van Aarle and Velíšková shared information about running business in the Netherlands, including an economic overview, information about starting a business, investment and business opportunities as well as useful tips. The participants then heard from Ruben van Aarle, Taxperience about tax related aspects of running business in the Netherlands and from Brigitte Vanatova from Veem.Legal about related legal matters. Throughout the whole seminar, participants got involved in an open discussion about the Netherlands and many business opportunities that it may offer to Czech companies.
“The Netherlands is sometimes neglected by Czech businesses while due to its geographical proximity, entrepreneurial and progressive spirit, attractive sectors for Czech economy and very mature and safe environment for running business, it is definitely worth exploring,” added Kateřina Velíšková.
The event took place in the head office of the Prague Chamber of Commerce in the historic city center of Prague. About 20 people joined the round table, including several members of the CDCC.
