6 June 2017, The Hague – The Embassy of the Czech Republic in The Hague hosted a wine tasting event of the finest wines from Moravia, the most important wine regions of the Czech Republic. Several reputable producers presented a selection of their wines, many of which received numerous awards in international wine competitions.
Participants have also got a unique opportunity to attend a masterclass by Frank Smulders MW, during which he discussed the history and future of the Czech wines.
The participating wine makers included Zámecké vinařství Bzenec, Vinařství Mikrosvín Mikulov, Kolby, Krásná hora, Nové Vinařství, Reisten, Sonberk, Víno Marcinčák and Vinařství Volařík, some of which are part the V8 Wine alliance, a member of the Czech Dutch Chamber of Commerce.
