V4 Start-ups and Scale-ups in the Netherlands

The Embassy of the Czech Republic together with Embassies of other Visegrad 4 countries (Slovak Republic, Hungary and Poland) hosted jointly with their Dutch partners the V4 Start-ups and Scale-ups event in the Netherlands. Czech, Slovak, Hungarian and Polish start-ups showcased their projects to investors primarily from the Netherlands as well as from other countries.The main objective of the event was to help starting and talented entrepreneurs from V4 to gain better access to financial resources in order to develop their projects and grow into successful businesses. This is the second annual of the event after a great success in 2014. Next to numerous investors, the event was attended by Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands, who delivered a short speech on the subject of start-ups, and diplomats representing the four Central European countries. The event took place in the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship in Rotterdam.
